The great thing about capes is how easy they are to wear and incorporate into an outfit. They can be your statement piece, or simply thrown over your look. The choice is yours with the variety of shapes, colors, and fabrics they come in.
I personally love the simple yet daring look of going monochromatic, but the bold part being monochrome with color. Instead all black everything, try head to toe red or blue!
Also worth the honorable mention are some alternatives to the cape that will give you the same warmth and style you crave: the poncho or a big wrap scarf.
